Description

CANAVA SANTORINI was established in 1974 on Santorini island by Evagellos Lygnos.
Today his son Loukas Lygnos still produces CANAVA SANTORINI's fine spirits with the same principles and the same local materials.
The same recipes inherited through generations are still being used. We moved to our current installations in 2012. Despite the fact that our production line meets the highest modern technological criteria, our distillation methods and our stills are traditional. Here at Canava Santorini we follow a slow procedure to prepare our spirits in our Greek handmade copper alembic stills. Our spirits are characterized by their aromas, taste and of exceptional quality.
In our Museum, we have recreated the workplaces and homerooms of the people of Santorini in the recent past. Every room is replicated using original items we tirelessly collected over the years.
Visitors can walk through narrow paths get to the square and the cafe, see the distillation of a bygone era and see through half-open doors and windows the recent past of Santorini.
